Principle

With renewable energy sources, it is important to improve storage options because, for example, solar energy, like other energy sources, is not available at all times. In this experiment, it is intended to illustrate how electrical energy from a solar cell can be stored using a commercially available "rechargeable battery" so that it can be used at another time. The charging and discharging of the accumulator is examined at 4 different charging times.

Benefits

  • Part of a system solution - easily expandable for further experiments
  • Simple teaching by using the demo board physics
  • Clear test execution by using ADM3 multimeters
