Function and Applications
For precisely measuring the viscosity of transparent Newtonian fluids in combination with a circulator thermostat.
The falling time of a ball with density r1 is measured in the fluid to be tested (denstiy r2) located in an inclined cylindrical downpipe. The dynamic viscosity can be calculated with using the measured falling time and a constant K which comes out of the apparatus table.
